Windows 10 Switches off primary monitor once every day.

So I have been at this for a while now, and I have ruled out that it is something to do with windows 10.

I have swapped out the PSU's of the screen, the screen itself and no matter what I do, it will always be my primary screen, I even proved it my swapping the screen configuration, plus, I did a system refresh without anything installed, and the problem persisted. I am guessing it is a scheduled task, but which one?

    Specs are below *Smile

This is from my previous thread:

    "Hello all,

Recently I have wired to screens up as dual screens, they were working fine at day 1 but after the left screen (main monitor) has started turning itself off completely.
As soon as I boot, the screen goes black and I am greeted with the screen startup logo, then "no signal detected" Windows will only pick up the one screen (right monitor) until I restart the screen from the plug. My main monitor is connected via HDMI from the GPU into the screen, and the other DVI to HDMI adapter, again from the GPU, The weird thing is no matter what I try, it will always be the left screen, I have tried:

Swapping the screen over with another
    Changing plug sockets,
    System Refresh
    Swapping screen power supplies
    installing drivers
    swapping HDMI cables

I can only assume it's something to do with Windows, but what is it?

Any help would be much appreciated,
    Cheers,
    Jason"

P.S I will remove any of my other posts to prevent double posting.

Primary monitor switches off every time I dock my laptop (Windows 10)

Thank you Joy. It is unbelievable but I arrived at work this morning and evening is working flawlessly. I can dock and un-dock my laptop with no problems.

Primary monitor switches off every time I dock my laptop (Windows 10)

Since Windows 10, every time I undock my laptop and dock it again one of two things happen.

    1. Both primary and secondary display switches off.

    2. Primary switches off and only the secondary screen stays on in Extended mode.

I then have to undock my laptop, hit Windows Key and P, Set displays to Duplicate. Dock my laptop, hit Windows Key and P, Set display to Extend.

    Current settings:

Under Display Settings Monitor 1 (laptop display) is ticked under Make this my main display.

    Orientation is landscape.

Multiple displays is set to Extended.

What I have tried so far:

    1. Updated display drivers.

    2. Under Windows Mobility Centre disconnected and reconnected the external display.

    3. Under advanced Display Settings. Hit the Identify button which identifies my primary as 1 and secondary as 2. However, when I hit the Detect button I get a message in red that reads' "Didn't detect another display".

    4. Disconnected second monitor, restarted laptop and reconnected second monitor.

No luck ... please help! I will be very grateful.
