Windows 10: Windows 10 System Image Recovery

Does anyone have a solution for recovering Windows 10 via a system image that works? I have tried using; a USB, network location, placing the image on the root of a new hard drive. All from the advanced startup and from the backup / restore within a clean install of Windows 10. I have close to 30 hours attempting the thousands of suggestions on windows forum, Microsoft community, and Microsoft answers. I have two useless laptops at the moment needing to be restored, all files AND settings. The file restore feature works using all listed methods, but not while trying to restore via system image. Threads date back to Windows 10 debut on this subject with no clear answer from Microsoft. It seems windows 10 is more about gaming and apps than it is for business.

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

I would suggest that you perform the steps mentioned below to create System Recovery point in Windows 10.

Steps:

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Click on File History, click on System Image Backup located at the bottom left corner of the window.

3. Click on Create System Image from the left menu pane.

3. You will be directed to a new window where you will be able to select where you choose to create the image in.

4. Follow on screen instructions.

Failed System Image Recovery Windows 10 SSD

Hi,

It seems that the system image back is not created properly or might be the system hard drive is corrupted.


As an initial steps, I suggest you to disconnect all the external device expect mouse and key board and then try performing system back and check if it helps.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to run check disk on the hard drive to see if there are any corruptions.
Follow the below steps:

1.Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).

2.Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
