Windows 10: Windows 10 System keeps initiating unexpected shutdowns.

This usually happens when I'm browsing Chrome, or after installing a new app like steam, or using any app at all really. Also, I've noticed that Chrome is showing an unusually high level of memory usage in task manager (20%). Anyways the same three events keep happening before each shutdown.


1. DistributedCOM: 10016: "The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

{6B3B8D23-FA8D-40B9-8DBD-B950333E2C52}
and APPID
{4839DDB7-58C2-48F5-8283-E1D1807D0D7D}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE SID (S-1-5-19) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool."

2. Kernel-Power: 86: "The system was shut down due to a critical thermal event"

3. User32: 1074: "The Process C:\Windows\system32\shutdown.exe (DESKTOP) has initiated the shutdown of computer (DESKTOP) on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found
Reason Code: 0x800000ff
Shutdown Type: Shutdown.

Edit: This seems to happen whenever WindowsUpdateClient is running something.

The previous system shutdown was unexpected windows 10

there is no blue screen it go's black while playing a game and reboots it's self. driver's have been updated , upgrade to windows 10 aniversary update and yet it just did it again on me about 30 min's after it show's. it really starting to **** me off
as i see no reason fo it to be happening as i keep it update and all it can say is The Previous system shoutdown was unexpected when it wasn't even shutdown. The previous system shutdown at 12:50:57 PM on ‎8/‎29/‎2016 was unexpected.

 

PC is Suffering Unexpected Shutdowns

Most important detail to me would be whether these shutdowns are sudden, in which case it's likely a short or PSU issue (capacitor aging maybe?) or graceful windows style shutdowns, which suggests software interference.

It could also be overheating components if it's a sudden shutdown. What are your thermals like?
