Windows 10: Windows 10 system process runs hard drive at 80% on idle

So I have just recently installed a full clean version of windows on my computer with apps and programs from very trusted places with no background apps running at all and yet when i leave my system to idle my hard drive starts running at 80-100% until i do something and then it goes back to normal, Task Manager says its system as my screenshot will show and i have ran countless scans and my pc is clean. System Idle Process

Hi,
I have recently been encountering a problem with system idle process. Whenever i start up my computer after about 10 to 15mins system idle process kicks in and starts hogging all of my cpu usage. This continuously lags my computer. Can i delete system idle process can someone please help me!*Mad

Although you may have a problem that is causing fps drops, "System Idle Process" isn't what's causing it.

When "CPU usage" for System Idle Process is high, that means that your CPU is not doing much useful work.

Idle, noun:

• not working or active; unemployed; doing nothing: idle workers.
  
• not spent or filled with activity: idle hours.
  

When System Idle Process shows as 30%, what's taking up the majority of the rest of the CPU cycles? That's probably the source of the problem.

 

System process blocks Port 80

You clearly don't understand the problem here. But I was able to solve it by doing the following:

• Activate IIS
• In Services disable the IIS service
• Reboot
• Port 80 is no longer blocked by the System process
