Windows 10: Windows 10 system reset stuck at 1%

Hello everyone. Last night I upgraded my laptop running Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 with the media creation tool. I wanted to have a clean install, so I went into the settings and reset my PC so it would be like a clean install instead of using the ISO and booting from a usb disk drive.








It has been a couple of hours since it started and it has been stuck on "Resetting this PC 1%". What should I do in this scenario to fix it? Thanks.

Note: To check the build and version, press Windows key + R > type
winver > hit Enter.

System reset stuck at 1% all night

Hey guys,

I have a toshiba satellite with windows 10 that i barely use anymore so Im selling it. Went to do a system reset through settings>update and security>Recovery and it was stuck at 1% for over 5 hours.

Im selling it to a family friend and i have virtually no personal information on it so Im not too worried from that perspective, i mainly just want to delete my admin account from the computer so she can use it as an admin.

Let me know your recommendations.
