Windows 10: Windows 10 system slow down

Recently I have performed a scheduled maintenance of a laptop and implemented the following procedures:1. Cleared all the temp files2. Cleared cache3. Scanner for mrt from cmd4. Full system virus scan This is a routine process through which the laptop goes through every month. But this month wasn't normalAfter performing the above steps, my laptop is running incredibly slow for some reason. Can anyone guide me to fix why my laptop is running slow after implementing the above steps?

System slow down

Step 1: Run the System maintenance troubleshooter.

System Maintenance troubleshooter finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

• Press Windows key and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and hit Enter.
• Click on View all in the left pane of the window.
• Select System Maintenance.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates after upgrade to Windows 10.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
