Windows 10: Windows 10 system Windows Media Player

Microsoft is just trying to make more money off of everyone by screwing up the Windows Media Player and making it next to impossible to get it back so you have to use their new APPS because they can record EVERYTHING you do in those and have the permission FROM YOU to do that so they can make even more money selling you to every other company in the world. Pretty soon they will decide what you eat, who you sleep with and if you are aloud to have children or not. Because the rich get richer and you will NEVER stop them if you don't stop believing that BS that shows up on your phone, {that's from them too BTW} and start thinking for yourselves. Life is too short and you work too hard to give everything you are to these people who are so greedy that Billions and Billions annually, really more money than our government spends a year, they bring in and that's not good enough for them they have to manipulate the world and milk every last penny out of everyone. It's so damn wrong. They make enough $$ each year that if they distributed it evenly to every American citizen at the nend of each year we would each receive about 398,000 dollars !! EACH one of the 395 million people. And the greedy bastards think they need more so badly they will even JEW us out of our WMP to get it. I say BOYCOTT EVERYTHING THAT IS MICROSOFT from now on. PERIOD. They don't deserve even one more cent from any of us. They will now take down this statement because they are too much ****'s to not.

Faulty Windows Media Player

Windows Mesdis Player developed a fault (Played jerky an missed bits) so I down loaded Media Player 10.

It's no better. Any suggestions (I run Windows 98)

New Windows Media Player Plugin for Firefox

Anyone who uses Windows Vista and Mozilla Firefox may be pleased to hear that the Windows Media Player team has now released a plugin for Firefox that should allow the browser to play WMP content on websites. Here are the steps to get it working:

• Installation of the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin may require administrative access to your PC. It is recommended that you close all other open browser windows before continuing with the installation.
• Click the Install button to automatically download and install the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin.
• Depending on your security settings, you may see a Security Warning dialog box. Click Install to install the plugin.

There is a known issue if you are using Firefox version 2.0.0.3 on Windows Vista with the installer failing with error code -203. To work around this simply restart Firefox (you will get a notification that Windows Vista will be changing the Firefox compatibility settings) and then install again - the second time should succeed.

The download is available here, and the new plugin works on all versions of Windows XP and Windows Vista (although it is mostly intended for Vista, as that currently has no WMP support in Firefox).
