Windows 10: Windows 10 taking too long on restarting screen.

My Windows 10 now I updated to 11. Takes too long on restarting screen. This happened a month ago. Last week i Updated to windows 11 thinking it will replace OS and the restarting problem was in Windows 10. But still the problem is same. NOTE: this is not related to windows 11, it was with windows 10 too. Earlier it took like 10 seconds on restarting screen and the computer turned off and on again. But now over a month its stuck on restarting for around 1 to 2 minutes! After restart, boot time is same, the problem is just with restart. I checked every background service and startup apps bu

Thanks for all the time you and Dalchina spent to find a solution to my problem. Unfortunately, in spite of all attempts, the problem refused to go away!

While searching for a solution on the web, I came across a fellow sufferer's very recent suggestion at answers.microsoft.com. Following the tip, I installed the free version of Windows Repair Tool from tweak.com. Ran this tool and followed the on-screen guides step by step. It took nearly 5 hours to complete and then repeat as suggested by the program. But it was worth it as my problem vanished and this morning, my start up process took only about 1 minute against the earlier 100 minutes!

I would try and boot into safe mode, could be a dodgy driver.
if it continues to still take a while to boot- i would suggest reseating your ram or it could be hardware.
if it boots up quickly I would look then look into what drivers/software were installed when you started noticing the issue.

Restart your PC. When you get to the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select Power

> Restart.

After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings >Restart.

After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.
