Windows 10: Windows 10 Task View Visual Bug

A few days ago I opened task view and it had appeared to glitch for a moment before displaying a black bar at the top and what appears as a smudged background off to the right. I have 3 monitors and only 2 of them have this smudging/glitchy effect, but all 3 of them have the black bar up top. I've already tried sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and both finish successfully with no errors. I've restarted file explorer a handful of times as well as my pc but nothing seems to fix it. Any suggestions?

Task View

It's the Task View, not the Task Bar, that is the problem. I should be getting the popup (right clicking on Task View) showing the options for additional Desktops, not the five options for the Task Bar. A 'chat' with MS Solutions said that I should reinstall
Windows 10 to MAYBE correct this problem. Any suggestions to correct?? Thanks for your interest...I really appreciate it.
The Task View is the only feature that I may like on 10!!

 

Windows 10 for Visually impaired

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

As per the issue description your girlfriend is visually impaired and can't see the icons and you want black color as the background color. Here are the steps which might help you to fix the issue.

• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Control Panel from the list.
• Select large icons under view by option.
• Click on personalize.
• Select any of the theme under High Contrast theme as per your interest.

In order to enlarge the taskbar icons you may refer to the steps provided below and see if it helps.

• Right click on the task bar.
• Click on Properties.
• Uncheck the box stating "Use small taskbar buttons" under taskbar tab.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
