Windows 10: Windows 10 Temporary License Key

Currently there are millions of kids trying to learn from home. They require a computer with a supported OS. I have a couple older laptops with Windows Vista and that do not work. It can't be updated, the browser IE does't work. I am happy to donate these machines to local kids but I can't afford to buy a new license for Windows 10. I wonder if Microsoft might consider donating a copy of Windows 10 to kids or older machines to updated so they can be used? Even a license that expires after a year, or when the kids are back in school would work. There are millions of older computers that could be used and millions of kids that could use them. Microsoft could help with this.

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
