    Windows 10 "This computer is not connected to a network"


    Windows 10 Pro 22H2In Windows explorer, when Network is selected, "This computer is not connected to a network. Click to connect" is displayed. Despite this, al other network systems are visible. Clicking on the "Click to connect..." does nothing.The Network & Internet Settings Status page will not open.The system is connected to the internet and I can browse, get email, etc. Some things like Windows update cannot connect. Dell Client Services cannot connect.This is a WIRED network connection. NOT WIFI.The system is on a domain. It is also on a static IP address.The network adapter says it

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

      Windows 10 "This computer is not connected to a network" 97987d1485971061t-connecting-computer-no-internet-connection-network-printer-.png
    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

    In order for us to find out what causes your computer not to connect to the Internet, we would like to gather more information:



    • Which apps are unable to connect to the internet?
    • Have you tried to connect to the internet using Internet Explorer?
    • Are there any software or hardware changes made to your computer prior to this issue?
    • Are there any recent updates installed to your computer?
    • How are you trying to connect to the Internet? Wi-Fi/LAN
    • Are there any third party anti-virus installed on your computer?
