    Windows 10 time not running when i turn off my pc


    Hi, I've been trying to find out about this issue I have been having on my new pc.


    The time doesn't seem to be running on its own when I turn my pc off and I would have to uncheck and check update time automatically for it to set to the right time every day. I have already replaced my CMOS battery, tried syncing with different internet time servers, I have also tried to fix windows time services going to services.msc, but for some reason the changes reset, even after setting to automatic startup the next time I check it goes back to manual startup.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
