Windows 10: Windows 10 to 11 Lost Taskbar and start button.

I have just upgraded from Windows 10 to 11. The TaskBar and start button are not there. When I press the windows key nothing happens.

Feature request for Windows 11 Taskbar and Start to mimic Windows 10.

A simple toggle in settings to switch from Windows 11 Taskbar and Start to Windows 10.

• Make customization options options available after selecting Windows 10 "Classic" Taskbar and Start:
  
  • Never Combine Buttons
    
  • Use small taskbar buttons
    
  • Position Taskbar: Left, Right, Top, Bottom
    
  • Drag to resize Taskbar
    
  • Pin
    
  • The full Taskbar slide out menu
    
  • 2-column Start menu
    
  • and so on...
    

Third party software and registry tweaks can restore all of the Windows 10 Taskbar and Start features. It seems that Microsoft, as the "parent" of Windows, should be able to provide the same capability.

Renee, you might be frustrated about the issue. However, the moderator seems asking about the build version of your OS because some features on Windows 10 enhanced, Specially the Windows Insider Preview.

Anyway if your start menu didn't function try the following suggestions on the articles below:

having a problem with Windows 10 taskbar. help needed,

It's still happening after i have done the above mentioned steps. I was running FireFox, I had 3 tabs open. 2 were Newegg.com, 1 was TPU. Closing them did NOT resolve the issue. Im starting to think that this is being caused by a windows process. notifications are entirely off too. FFS, this is really annoying.

I tried This fix, and im Hoping it will work.

I Also installed "start10" and customised the start Menu, and Added a proper start button. Still no frozen taskbar, and its been Far longer than it normally takes until it used to happen.
