  1. Windows 10 to 11 upgrade: MS PC Health App states i7 4-core CPU not supported. Why?

I'd like to update from MS Windows 10 to 11. MS recommends running an MS PC health check first. In doing so, the Health App tells me my PC does not meet Win 11 system requirements regarding the CPU. The PC meets all requirements except the CPU. Why is an Intel Core i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 4-core processor not supported? This is a fast CPU that performs very well for me on Win 10. It's above the 1GHz minimum. It has 4 cores, above the minimum of two or more. Is there a good reason why this processor can't handle Win 11? Can I attempt an install anyway? Thanks,MO

    :)

  2. Intel Core i7-7500U CPU @ 2,70GHz support for Windows 11 upgrade

I have a beefy Win 10 PC which far exceeds all specs for a Win 11 upgrade, but the system upgrade health check is saying that my Intel Core i7-7500U CPU @ 2,70GHz is not supported. However, in Microsoft's list of supported processors (for a Win 11 upgrade) for PC's running Windows 10 21H2, this same processor is listed as supported. How do I get past this "unsupported CPU" message so that I can upgrade?

    The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11 - Intel Core i7-7500U @ 2.70GHz.

    Hello,

My PC Health Check says my The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11.

PC Health Check shows my processor as Intel Core i7-7500U @ 2.70GHz. This is also listed on the list of supported CPU for Windows 11. Why is my CPU not identified as supported?
