Windows 10: Windows 10 Top Left Keyboard Issues

So I've been having this issue where my Tilde, 1, tab, caps lock, q, and a keys stop working for no reason for periods of time. It's been this way for much longer this time though. I have to rapidly spam them all to get any of them to work. It also seems to get worse when my computer is hot. The repeat rate of the keys is bad and I have to spam them A LOT if I want to use multiple of them at the same time. Holding down any key then holding down q basically never works. Also it does this weird thing where if I hold down multiple of the keys it changes the volume. If I hold down s and a and then

• Press Windows Button and start typing Control panel
• Click on Clock, language and Region
• Click on Language and click on Keyboard Layout
• And you can add the input Language for keyboard and check if it helps

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your touch Screen. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Uninstall and Reinstall the Keyboard Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Keyboard Drivers

1. Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

2. Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

3. Search for the Keyboard from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the
driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

Update Driver Software from the Manufacturer’s website:

Step 2: Go to the Computer manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the Keyboard and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.
