Windows 10: Windows 10 unable to open folders

Hello there,I'm having an issue with Windows 10 I have never seen before any sadly I can't find any info on that specific issue either.I'm currently unable to open new folders. Every time I doubleclick on a folder a new window pops up and opens the 'quick access' tab or 'my pc' tab, depending on which one I selected as default under view > options > change folder an searchd options. The option 'open folder in same window' under view > options > change folder and search options is enabled of course. I also tried setting it to 'open in new window' and setting it back to 'open in sa

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

  Open file explorer, click on view and select options.

  Double-click on options, in the general tab click on Open each folder in the same Window.

Unable to open document folders
