  1. Windows 10: unable to remove user for rollback to Windows 7

Background: While logged into my "Owner" account on Windows 7, I upgraded to Windows 10. Turns out my laptop has too old of an Intel chipset and I must roll back to Windows 7.

I now have two login ids: Owner and Administrator.

C:\Users shows subfolders Adminstrator and Owner

Both are cited as Local Accounts and Administrator.

When I try to roll back to Windows 7, I'm told I first need to get rid of the Administrator account. But I'm unable to. I see various places that would enable me to remove or delete the Owner account. But I see no ability to remove the Administrator account, and the message from rollback is specifically about the Administrator account.

Here is what I have tried:

    - While logged in as Owner, I go to Family and Other Users setting and see no mention of Administrator. If I login as Administrator and go to the same window, I see both Administrator and Owner. I'm offered the option to remove the Owner account--not what I want.

    - While logged in as Owner, I launch cmd in Administrator Mode and view Control panel's Manage Accounts. I see Owner and Administrator. I see a "Delete the account" option only when selecting Owner, not when selecting Administrator .

    :)

Windows 10 to be Free Upgrade for Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Users

In what could be a fundamental shift in how Microsoft monetizes its flagship product, the Windows operating system, the company decided to offer its upcoming Windows 10 as a free upgrade for existing users of Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. This offer will be applicable only for the first year following Windows 10 launch (after which, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 users will have to pay to upgrade to Windows 10). Windows 10 will see the return of the Start Menu, a productive Desktop environment, and cutting-edge new API features such as DirectX 12.
