    For there is no boot screen, or boot UEFI menu I conclude that my computer’s bios crashed right after updating.I am not even able to start with boot manager while USB ports also have no response. I have boot pendrive with WIN 10 but it does not load, either. Battery checked, replaced. The issue is still on.

    My conclusion: Windows 10 update crashed my motherboard’s bios, somehow.


    Please offer me real help! Options like “create bootable installation, enter BIOS/UEFI Setup to turn off Fast Boot, run System Restore”, etc. are not helpful!

    2020-03 Cumulative update failure

    I have Windows 10 1909 64bit installed on a Lenovo laptop. When I try to install the 2020-03 Cumulative update (KB4540673) it will download and then install to the point of saying that it is 100% installed, then it will change to say There were problems Installing some Updates, -Error 0x800f0982

    I have run the disk clean up and run scan /sfc on the C drive, the C drive is a SSD with 65gb free.

    I have checked on line and the suggestion are to remove any recently installed language packs, I only have one language pack installed, English (United Kingdom) so I am not likely to be uninstalling that. The laptop has been running with Windows 10 since June 2019 with no problems.

    Can anybody please advise
