Windows 10: Windows 10 Update 0x80070424

Hi

I deleted the windows update service using sc delete wuauserv which helped a lot of with the endless updates that were bringing my laptop to becoming unusable. Now I need to do an update and I get the error:

There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070424)

How can i update windows again?
