Windows 10: Windows 10 Update 1809

I am trying to update a WINDOWS 10 PRO x64 from 1803 to 1809. This is a clean install that I performed due to the fact that 1903 blocked a specific app that is required for our Users. The clean install has been updated to 1803 but, I would like to update it to at least 1809. I have gone to the Microsoft Catalog and searched for 1809. The Catalog gives a long list of 1809 options but, none will install an says Not Applicable to Your Computer.


So, I have read that Microsoft had trashed the 1809 and moved onto 1903. Can anyone point to the proper download or if there is a trick I can do to keep my system at 1809?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
