  1. Windows 10 update 2004 removed AMD Catalyst Control Center

I just had an update today I believe it said it was the Windows 10 update 2004 and after it did several reboots everything seem to load up fine. I did one reboot after like I usually do after I do an update and now it seems to have removed AMD Catalyst Control Center that came with the driver for my video card I installed a while back. So far I have not noticed anything else missing so far, but it's looks like it did mess with a few settings. I did a search and found the AMD Catalyst Control Center folder which is empty in my Windows.old folder of all places dated for today at 11.01 A.M. Eastern time. I was under the impression that folder was for my Windows 7 install I upgraded from in case I wanted to roll back. Is this not the case? I mean shouldn't that folder not be being touched at all what so ever?

So I'll ask the obvious question. Why is my stuff being messed with here? lol I mean seriously I should absolutely not have to run a Google search to find out whether or not an update is safe to take from Microsoft or not. If I have to do that then the message I am being sent here is that Microsoft doesn't have their act together. Which for a multi-billion dollar company that is not a good message to send out mates. lol I'm just saying. lol Windows 10 update 2004 removed AMD Catalyst Control Center :D

So I need to know. Is it just the control center getting toyed with and removed or do I have to redo drivers as well too or what? I mean I don't even know what literally got changed on my rig. Is this something I need to fix or what? I really do not know what to do about this here right yet. lol The only reason I am not totally upset past merely being annoyed is because I have two OS'es currently and run Windows 10 Professional as well as Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. So if one OS poops the bed I got the other to fall back on per say. lol Windows 10 update 2004 removed AMD Catalyst Control Center :D

Which brings me to a side question. I have a drive currently disabled with the version of Windows 7 Ultimate Edition on it that I simply can not repair due to registry issues and there being no real way to fix those problems other then rolling back which I can not do because Windows 7 didn't make a back up. So I am thinking of backing up that drive and restoring a clean copy of that version, but because my Windows 10 is an upgrade from the same OS the UUID numbers match and will conflict. Is there a way for me to change the UUID on Windows 7 as not to conflict and cause problems with Windows 10?

I plan to bring that drive back online eventually and I just prefer to do with a working version of Windows 7. Any help in that as well would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Take care, stay safe and stay blessed everyone. :

    :)
