Windows 10: Windows 10 Update (2019 04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based...

I've tried several times to install this update, but each time it appears to have been successful (see 1st msg), but each time I get the same error msg (see 2nd msg.








Can someone please help??

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

In the Windows update catalog, this update, 2019-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4501835) is for May but the date created: May 1. According to the update history https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4464619/windows-10-update-history,
this is not the latest build. Microsoft, you should change it from 2019-05 to 2019-04. There will be a new build coming out this Tuesday, update Tuesday.
