  1. Windows 10 update (2019) deleted all my games and broke my WiFi.

You guys are teetering on the edge of class action lawsuits with the stupid decisions you’re making for users. You NEVER change the path of a hard drive FOR a user and throw all their files into a windows.old folder. This is NOT your decision and you must warn users before taking such critical actions for them. You’re potentially ruining entire businesses with this. Thousands of files and game progress that may have been detrimental to people’s very lives.

I have come across countless reports of this happening now and it absolutely blows my mind, the total stupidity of doing something like this. You cost me thousands of hours of gaming that I can never get back and deleted files I had been working on for almost 15 yrs.

Even worse, this update threw these files into a hidden location, suddenly causing my C: drive to become full. And what did I do? I cleaned my HD to free up the space. I can’t even download more than 3 games on my machine now. I used to have over 100 games stored on there. Oh, one other thing to top it off — this update broke my WiFi driver so I can’t connect to the internet now.

Whoever decided to make this decision should be fired over there. And yes, I have already started the process of filing this issue with a Lead Plantiff.

    :)

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.
