Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Broken and troubleshooter reports no issues what can I do???

So I wanted to install an app for my Xbox controller to turn the rumble up and it failed with a windows update is disabled message Code: 0x80070422.

So I went to investigate and when I open the update it just sits there doing nothing the troubleshooter finds nothing wrong and I really don't want to have to reinstall. Is there a way I don't know of or a tool that can fix it?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
