Windows 10: Windows 10 update cause my games not to work

I just updated my windows 10 pc today and now I can't play games I played recently. Like assassins creed unity, which crash after the loading screen. I know it is a buggy game but I was able to play it without any issues until I update windows 10 today. Please help me.

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

Games not working under Windows 10

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

The issue might cause due to compatibility issues of the game with Windows 10. So, I suggest you to install the game in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the setup file of the game and select
  “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” Tab.
• Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
• Let the game install and then check thefunctionality.

Windows 10 Creators Update Available for Download

Not sure about the games you listed but no probs with Dirt Rally and benching heavensward-bench here for me. I'm going to test 3DMark too in a few minutes.
