    WINDOWS 10 UPDATE CAUSING BLUE SCREEN


    I have a Dell Laptop, Last Dec, i update my laptop but after the update, its always crashing and automatically restarting with blue screen. I already uninstall all the latest update but unfortunately still crashing and having a Blue Screen. I decided to REFORMAT the Drive C: with a new OS for a fresh new version of OS and uninstall the old update. But when i try to reUPDATE the laptop, still the issue happens as Blue Screen again and again. Help me please.Thanks

    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • What is the version of Windows 10 installed on the computer?
    • Did you reinstall the update and the application after resetting the computer to factory settings?


    We need crash dumps in order to know what is causing this issue and suggest the appropriate steps to follow.



    We have sent you a private message, please reply to the message along with the crash dumps. Dump files can be found in C:\Windows/Minidump/*.dmp.



    Meanwhile, I suggest to try with the steps mentioned in the article:

    would like to know more about the issue. Please clarify the following:

    • Did you get a STOP code?
    • Did you install any hardware or driver recently?

    Startup Blue Screen

    Hi Jon,

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device software drivers
    • Corrupted Windows update system files
    • Software/Security conflicts

    We would like to know some information:

    • Did you get any blue screen stop error codes?
    • Have you tried booting in Safe mode?
