Windows 10: Windows 10 update completely crashed my Acer Aspire laptop

I managed to avoid the update as last time it crashed my laptop and it had to restore itself to previous version. But got to point where I couldnt delay it any longer.

Again it crashed my laptop, got stuck at 7%, turned laptop off and on again and now just gets stuck on restoring to previous version.

Have downloaded update to USB (as directed by MS chat) from another computer, gone into the boot menu, tried repairing - no joy, tried system restore - no joy, just says no restore point available, tried loading from USB, it asks for my windows secure key, have entered that and get message saying not recognised.

At my wits end as nothing has worked and this update has left my laptop, along with all my files, totally unusable and inaccessible. Have been told by PC World that they can look at it for a fee of £60, but why should I pay for a repair (that isn't guaranteed to work) that has been caused by microsoft?

Any suggestions on how to fix?

Acer Aspire 5560 not upgrading to windows 10

That Error Code seems to be most frequently associated with/pointing to incompatible Drivers. The Acer Aspire 5560 Model is only listed on the Acer Site under 'Legacy Hardware' as far as I can tell, which suggests they may not be too interested in providing
further firmware/driver updates, but you could try asking on their Forums. According to this site ( http://www.notebook-driver.com/acer/acer-aspire-5560-5560g-windows-driver-utility/ ) the last updates were released in 2012!

Hello, i'm having a problem with an acer laptop
The lcd screen is broken, completely cracked, but it doesn't even power up.
I know that I will be needing a replacement screen
But why is it not powering up?
Really need a answer quickly, because the laptop is from a friend of mine
