Windows 10: windows 10 update destroyed my 3d printer board

I am using windows 7 on a computer at work, which i use for my 3d printer.

I had to do some prints at home, just thought it would be easier if i just use my wife's asus laptop pre-installed with windows 10.

Everything was going smoothly until this stupid windows 10 update started which i disabled so many times, the update took all processing power, the printer had to wait for processes to finish before continuing, at that point mosfet heated up, fused connections on the inside if the mosfet, and and damaged the processor of the 3d printer board.

I hate windows 10, i will never ever use it again, would rather move over to apple or any other kind of operating system.

• What is the make and model of your device?
• How is the printer connected to the computer, locally or through network?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue?

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.

• 
  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Print queue.
  
• 
  Right-click on the printer driver
  that is listed and click Update driver software.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from
“Fix printer problems”
and then check if this fixes the issue.

There is no "Graphics" options on the Windows 10 desktop right click menu. Please update your reply with correct instructions.
