Windows 10: Windows 10 Update does nothing

One of software packages I needed to install required an updated version of Windows, and I opened Windows Update Center; when I clicked the "check for updates" button, it just showed me that I did not have all updates installed and didn't do anything.Then, I also clicked that "Install updates as soon as possible" idk how exactly it's called in English, my setup isn't in this language. It just buffered for a few seconds, just as the previous one and didn't do anything. I tried setting Active Hours not to include the current time, I also tried some seemingly random methods that I found online

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
