Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Error "Download error - 0x8007025d0".

To set the stage: the Windows 10 Pro 64bit I'm running is a free upgrade I got several years ago from Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit . I've been experiencing numerous BSODs recently with various stop codes so I decided to use the Windows Update Recovery "Keep My Files" Reset option to see if that would eliminate the BSODs. That process went cleanly so now I'm trying to bring the OS up to date. Now I'm getting the referenced error when installing the "2021-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems KB5001330".


System Info:

Asus Z97 Deluxe MB

Intel Core i7-4790k @ 4GHz

WD 1TB SSD with 618 GB Free

8GB RAM

(Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)
