Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Errors

I have a problem when trying to install updates on my HP Notebook, I get error codes such as '0x8007007e' & '0x80073712'. I have run the update troubleshooters multiple times but to no avail. This is now starting to effect my working effectiveness and is generally just getting on my nerves; having to wait for up to 30 minutes to try to install an update, and then having to undo changes. I would really appreciate support with this how to stop it happening again in the future. Thanks in advance,
