    HelloI’m struggling with the KB5032189 and KB5032339, they both fail at the final 98% after booting. and then Windows reverts the changes.I’m running Windows 10 Pro build 19045.3448 on a 13600k with 64GB ramWhat I have tried so far: most of it several timesWindows update troubleshooter, no change.C: drive has 700 GB free, and is free of errors etc. 2tb Samsung 990 pro.Have cleared Windows update cache and catalogues.Have used SFC /scannow, no changeHave used DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth etc, no change.Windows10Upgrade9252 and MediaCreationTool22H2 say windows is up to

    Windows 98 and ME no longer updatable...

    Quite right, XP is still listed in technet. Win 98 unfortunately isn't. Windows 3.1 and 3.2 are listed though.

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Windows Updates failed to instal

    I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
