Windows 10: Windows 10 update fails with 0x80070003

I am running Windows 10 Pro 1809 and I have tries all of the suggestions I have come across, all to no avail. Windows 10 Pro 1809 is set to expire soon and I cannot update or upgrade.

ive been trying to install the update of windows 10 home single language, every time i try to do that it shows failed to install update and showing this error:

Windows Store keep on failing to update with 0x80070003

Many thanks for your response. I tried doing the steps you have suggested but still I cannot update my apps in Windows Store. Like now currently I have 4 apps which keep on failing to update with the error code 0x80070003.
Then when I try clicking check for updates it will add 3 more apps. Then I will try to update the 7 apps, the 3 newly added apps say completed but the 4 apps still have the Error Try that again, with the error code above. I will try to update again, and the
same thing happens even after trying all the steps you have suggested.

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
