    Windows 10 Update Failure - KB5000802 & KB5001567


    Hi All,


    I am having major issues with the following updates:

    2021-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems KB5000802

    2021-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems KB5001567


    Every time I try and install them I get the 0x8007000d error.


    I have tried a number of fixes including:

    • Windows Update trouble shooter built-in one and the programme you can download
    • Resetting Windows Components bits,cwuauserv, appidsvc, cryptsvc etc.
    • Performng a DISM, SFC, and Chkdsk Scans and restores/ repairs


    But none work :


    Any other options?

    KB5000802 CU Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.867 and v20H2 19042.867 Win Update

    KB5001567 would hopefully be the anticipated fix for the printer issues, and has also just appeared in the Update Catalog, issue date 15/03/2021.

    And there are more issues after the update installation:
    • Still BlueScreens after the update installation.
    • Print Server causes blanc pages.
    • Errors printing graphics.
    • Label printers print empty labels.
    • Issues with Office printing.

    KB5001567 CU Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.868 and v20H2 19042.868
    - removes flash player

    KB5000802 CU Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.867 and v20H2 19042.867
    - some have experienced issues. Homer712has commented on this. And as said, be cautious about randomly updating to the latest peril - er - I mean build.
