Windows 10: Windows 10 update gets hung on black screen in middle of update

I have applied Windows build 19043.1566 twice and in the middle of the update the screen just gets hung in a black/blue different than black screen that is turned off. The first time I had to eventually turn the PC off three times and Windows finally interceded backing out the update. The 2nd time it froze again and after turning off the PC three times, it wanted to do a system recovery. I was able to finally turn off the PC again several times until it finally backed out the update. Now I just have Windows Update turned off for 45 days.I have Windows 10 Pro on a Dell XPS 8910 Version 21H1 B

Windows 10 update 2004 Hung up

I downloaded update 2004 on one of my computers. It went through all the steps, I think, but it got hung up at the screen with the windows 10 icon on a black screen. Please let me know how to get this un-hung ASAP. I am an Assure customer.

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Black Screen During Driver Update

I reinstalled my laptop back to factory settings, and I wanted to update the GPU drivers. But when I try, the screen turns black during the update, but the computer is still running. I was forced to turn off the computer and turn it back on. I used system restore, so now I'm using the default drivers that came with the laptop. Can you guys suggest anything?
