Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Intel - SoftwareComponent - 2130.1.15.0 Is stuck and wont download

Hi, As my title says Windows 10 Update Intel - SoftwareComponent - 2130.1.15.0 Is stuck and wont download. I have tried everything to get it to restart i have restarted Windows update manually, I have ran the troubleshooter, i have booted into safemode and nothing seems to fix it. I can get other updates to download and install when i click pause and then resume updates but it doesn't affect this particular one no matter how you click the Download button nothing happens, Any help would be appreciated.

Running Windows 10 - What is Intel - SoftwareComponent - 2130.1.16.1?

Just an FYI that the “Intel – Software Component – 2130.1.16.1” update has finally been added to the Microsoft Update Catalog at https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Intel – SoftwareComponent – 2130 and the Driver Model is listed as the Intel Management and Security Application Local Management component (last modified 31-Aug-2021).





I was updated to Intel Management and Security Application Local Management component v2130.1.16.6 (i.e., not v2130.1.16.1) on 07-Jan-2022 after I applied the Intel Management Engine Components Installer v2141.15.0.2511 that was recently listed as an urgent chipset update on the support page <here> for my Dell Inspiron 5584. This installer for the Intel Management Engine Components did not change the version of my Intel UHD Graphics 620 driver (currently v27.20.100.9664, which I installed on 11-Dec-2021) and the newer components bundled inside that installer - including Intel Management and Security Application Local Management component v2130.1.16.6 - don't seem to have caused any issues on my Win 10 Pro machine.

What is Intel - SoftwareComponent - 1.61.251.0

I have a Group Editor Policy setting of 2=Notify download/install so that I am notified whenever Windows Update wants to download an update. I get a "Download" button to do the downloading and installation. In other words, the Windows updates are not
installed automatically. I have to click a "Download" button in order for the update to be installed.

I just (Oct 14, 2020) got a "Download" button for Intel SoftwareComponent - 1.61.251.0. What is this update?

Yesterday (Oct 15, 2020), I got a "Download" button for Intel - SoftwareComponent - 1.38.2020.805 and I learned

here that this is a Dynamic Application Loader (DAL). And I was able to learn here what a DAL is.

So, it looks like Microsoft is releasing Intel SoftwareComponents at a fast clip. I'd like to know that is going on!!

 

Downloading updates stuck at 0%


Hello everyone, Windows Update has been stuck at 0% every time I've tried in the last couple of days (see screenshot). These are the two updates available:

• Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3103688).

• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3105213).
