Windows 10: Windows 10 update KB4549951

Discus and support Windows 10 update KB4549951 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I just installed update KB4549951. When I restarted my computer , the startup created 10-12 instances of Word with blank new files. Word is not one...     Windows 10 update KB4549951


    I just installed update KB4549951. When I restarted my computer , the startup created 10-12 instances of Word with blank new files. Word is not one of my startup programs. I restarted twice, then did a shut down and turned it back on. Same problem. I uninstalled the update and the problem went away. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows 10 update KB4549951

    KB4549951 causing issues

    Ever since KB4549951 was installed on my Win 10, my internet speed has slowed to a crawl.

    It even causes programs to freeze

    I am about ready to remove it. What's the story?
