Windows 10: Windows 10 Update keeps loading and the numbers wont go up

i was updating start from 03.15 and until 04.32 it still stuck on 77% and it seems that it wont go up anymore. im afraid if i turn the power off it will damage my laptop and data. what should i do?

Then you have 2 options left:

• Do a system Restore and go back when your updates worked.
• Do a repair install, which keeps everything and reinstalls Windows.
