Windows 10: Windows 10 Update keeps "updating" graphics driver to older version

I manually installed the latest Intel Graphics driver for my notebook, but Windows 10 keeps updating the driver to an older version. How can I prevent Windows 10 Update from doing this? I just want to keep the driver I manually install. Thanks.

• What is the make and model of your machine?

I suggest you to enable the integrated graphics in the control panel of the Nvidia
and check if it helps.

• Did you try updating the Graphics card which you have installed recently?

This issue might have caused due to incompatibility of the display card with your machine. I suggest you to check with the manufacturer if the display card is compatible with you system and check if it helps.

Windows Update keeps installing older Intel Graphics driver


Windows 10 - 17134.191 Update insists installing and older Intel Graphics driver over the manually installed newest version available. Only started doing this recently. How do I stop this from happening?

 

Widows Update Still keeps installing the older versions of drivers.

This problem seems appears for a long time, but the latest version of windows still cannot deal it properly. I install the intel graphics driver from the official website after fully upgrade the system, but when I click update windows it keeps installing
the intel - Display driver(The older version of graphics driver).

OS build: 17134.376

PS: Can you guys just compare the driver version number before deciding if the driver needs update? But, the update won't install older version of nvidia driver.
