Windows 10: Windows 10 update locked me out of my hard drive

In August I got a Windows update,at first it wouldn't let my laptop start up at all. Power button on, fans going, but screen black, however I fixed that by updating my BIOS. 2 days later I got stuck in BSOD loop. I think this was caused by KB5012170 but that could have also downloaded a few days earlier. In trying to fix my BSOD loop I encountered bitlocker which I had never activated before, luckily I was able to get access to my key. This did not allow for progress because whatever is wrong can not be fixed, bitlocker has made the drive encrypted and unwritable. I can't decrypt it even thou

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
