Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Makes Audio Direction In-Game

Hello,

I have been having problems lately with the windows update that was released on September 10th, 2019. It's labeled as KB4515384 (OS Build 18362.356). The audio driver that I have is Realtek High Definiton Audio and I have never had a problem with windows updates until now. The specific problem I have is that whenever it updates it will change my audio to be directional and I can only hear in a cone in front of me. For example, if I were to play Apex Legends with this update I would only be able to hear in a cone in front of my character. I have tried everything in terms of playing with the audio settings in-game and outside of game. This includes going into the sound manager for Realtek Audio, Reinstalling my audio drivers, Turning off sound enhancements, etc. The only solution that works for me is rolling back the update to the previous update, but every time I do that and shut off my computer I end up having to update to the one that does not work and then I have to roll back yet again. Essentially, I keep updating just to roll back and it is quite annoying. If anyone has a solution to this problem it would be well appreciated. Thank You!

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked
