Windows 10: Windows 10 update mess after install

After every major update, System protection is turned off. This time (1804) I cannot turn it on. All options are greyed out.Can anyone tell me how to re-enable System Protection?


Why does Microsoft mess around with my settings when installing updates?

Just installed 1804 and find that the Temp folder has been relocated back to the Windows folder. (I have set mine to be in the same place as the User Temp which is on a separate drive for convenience.)

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 10 clean install mess up partitions?

If I do a clean install of Windows 10, will it mess up the partitions I have on my 2TB drive?
