Discus and support windows 10 update on 4/27/2020 / 4/28/2020 disabled up my audio / speaker function. in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; the MS Windows 10 update messed up my audio function. speakers no longer work. everything I tried thus far has failed to correct the problem....     windows 10 update on 4/27/2020 / 4/28/2020 disabled up my audio / speaker function.


    the MS Windows 10 update messed up my audio function. speakers no longer work.

    everything I tried thus far has failed to correct the problem. driver uninstall / reinstall, intel bios update install.

    my mic works.

    we believe that the MS Windows 10 update corrupted my audio device - the green plug input in the back of the computer.


    the chats with MS tech support have not lead to a satisfactory resolution. only more frustration. no follow up with the reps.

    its as if they don't care!! PLEASE HELP.

    Update to Windows 10 1903 and 1909 failing with message "Failed to install on ‎4/‎3/‎2020 - 0xc1900101"

    Hi Team,

    My laptop has windows 10 1803 version and whenever I try to update to latest version 1903 or 1909, it fails while restarting. While restarting it installs upto 48% and then turning off abruptly. After I come to check the update history it says the below
    error

    Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903

    Failed to install on ‎4/‎3/‎2020 - 0xc1900101

    I tried doing recovery (without deleting files) which had reset the windows and freshly installed the windows 10 version. After that I checked for the updates again and I see that the latest version was detected
    as Windows 10. Still after installation when I was forced to restart it was turned off.

    When I checked the update history, I was able to see the same message with the other history as below.

    Succesfully installed on 4/3/2020

    Definition updates

    Here I see update for Windows Defender Antivirus succesfully installed on the same date

    Other Updates

    Here I see Windows Mallicious software removal tool x64 March 2020(KB890830) installed succefully on the same date.

    I dont have any antivirus running on my machine. I am using Lenovo Z50-70(bought in 2015) with available hard disc space of 231GB in C: Drive and 8GB ram.

    Dont have any known hardware issues other than Spoiled battery(works only when plugged in)

    Please suggest how to fix this issue.
