Windows 10: windows 10 update / printer probleem

Hallo,


Er is al veel geschreven over de printerproblemen die men ervaren heeft na een update van Windows 10 afgelopen zomer. Voor sommige printers is een een patch KB4567523 aangemaakt en die bleek succesvol. Voor mijn printer Canon MG6250 heb ik t.o.h. nog geen oplossing gevonden. Inmiddels diverse keren alle Canon-software en drivers verwijderd en weer geinstalleerd maar niets helpt.Mijn vraag is nu; Is er al een patch beschikbaar voor mijn printprobleem of wordt daar nog aan gewerkt?


Met mijn laptop, ook Windows10, kan ik nog wel printen. Hiervoor wordt aangekondigd dat de Windows 10 update voor mei 2020 eraan komt. Na installatie ben ik bang dat dit hetzelfde printerprobleem gaat opleveren. Dus voor deze pc nog maar even niet doen.

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.

• 
  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Print queue.
  
• 
  Right-click on the printer driver
  that is listed and click Update driver software.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from
“Fix printer problems”
and then check if this fixes the issue.

I am sorry to know that you are having issues with Printer.

What and all steps have you tried so far?

Restart the computer and check.

Also, check for Windows updates.

I suggest you to run the Printer Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  In Search window type Troubleshooting and click on it to open it.

  Click on Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Then click on Printer to run the troubleshooter. Follow onscreen steps.

I would suggest you follow the steps below and see if they help:

Method 1: Printer troubleshooter.

Please follow the steps below:

• 
  Type “Troubleshooting” on the Windows Search bar and hit enter.
  
• 
  On the left side of the Troubleshooting window, click on “View all”
  
• 
  Click on Printer. Please provide a password if asked for it and click ok. (Follow the onscreen instructions)
  

Method 2: Update you printer drivers.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

• 
  Press Windows key + R key. Type "devmgmt.msc" and click Enter.
  
• 
  Expand the Printers.
  
• 
  Double-click on the Printer.
  
• 
  In Properties, go to Drivers Tab and click on Update.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

Method 3: Manually install your printer.
