Windows 10: Windows 10 Update ruined my internet connection in a weird way..

(Possible problem with Windows 10 update ruining my internet connection to only specific games/apps/websites)

So, as you can see in the bottom right corner, it shows that I am connected to the internet.

So, I can connect perfectly fine to almost any website on the internet completely normally. Seems fine, yea?

Well, I cannot connect to pretty much any gaming service or website, such as Steam's platform or Minecraft's website, or Roblox's website, for example.

And when I attempt to play any game online, such as Minecraft (Windows 10 Edition) I am either not able to connect online at all, or it connects and moves so slowly that I've just given up and go to playing on single player (which is still a blast) but I would definitely prefer in these trying-times to play online with my friends!!!

Microsoft's Console Companion App works horribly slow, and everytime I try to join/create a party, it just says there was a problem creating/connecting to a party. Messaging works very slowly, but at least works.

The Microsoft Store app works, albeit incredibly slow.

I just wanna play my games with no issue again! (or very nearly no issue)

I've seen others have very similar issues, but have not seen the exact issue that I'm having.

What I've already tried to do to fix this issue is 1. re-installing Minecraft like 3 times 2. resetting the networks in Settings, and 3. restarting the computer countless times.

Does anyone know how to fix/what to do to fix this issue??

Win 10 update ruined my computer

I will gladly dispose of any "ruined computer" that Windows 10 has "ruined". Just ship them to me and I will take care of disposing of the "ruined" hardware!

 

win 10 ruin my wifi connection

after the latest update of windows 10, it ruins my wifi connection! I did system restore my laptop (alienware 17) as suggested by the Microsoft support agent, but the problem is still there.

and fyi, the best drivers are already installed in my system yet the same problem persist!

kudos to Microsoft for ruining my life!

 

Upgrading to Windows 10 from windows 7 and losing internet connection

A couple of days ago I upgraded my desktop to windows 10 after getting one of those MS prompts. However now I cannot access the internet and suspect the drivers from the Gigabyte GA-MA790X-ud4 motherboard does not support the internet drivers required. Searching the manufacturers website has not given me any joy either. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
