Windows 10: windows 10 update - sculpt mouse keyboard combo not working With solution

Unfortunately the thread here has been closed so I cannot post a reply https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-update-sculpt-mouse-keyboard-combo-not/c93f7340-a1ee-423e-bd04-c17e97ca9631but I have a solution for those searching for a solution to this issue.Symptoms and Reproduction:When you plug in a Sculpt Keyboard and Mouse, you get erratic mouse behaviour, some clicks stop working, mousing over the taskbar does not show mouse over gestures etc. Unplugging the usb keyboard does not resolve the issue without a restart.Potential cause:The generic mouse drivers instal

Sculpt mouse without USB dongle won't work with Keyboard Mouse USB combo

So I own the sculpt comfort desktop combo (link below). It came with a keyboard, sculpt mouse and USB receiver.

The right click on the mouse stopped working so I ordered a new Sculpt Mouse (link below) however this one I'm having trouble connecting to the transeiver from my previous keyboard/mouse combo. Anyone know how to fix?

• What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type winver
  in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the make and model of the PC?
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?

We would like you to refer Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse
website and click on Downloads. Install the latest mouse driver for Windows 10 by clicking on
Mouse and Keyboard Center 11.



As you have already tried to use the mouse on multiple system, there are possibilities that the issue could be hardware related. We would like you to get in touch with our hardware support team over the phone. You can click on the

Keypad from Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard/Keypad/Mouse Combo no longer works in Windows 10

The keypad from Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard/Keypad/Mouse Combo no longer works in Windows 10. I've replaced the battery and downloaded the latest Keyboard drivers. What am I missing?
