Windows 10: Windows 10 Update & Security won't open

    Windows 10 Update & Security won't open


    This has been an issue for a few weeks now and i can't update W10 at all, here's what it looks like when i open the update page:

    It's just blank, i can't click on anything on there besides just closing it, i've tried using the troubleshooter thing and it doesn't work at all.

    unable to open windows update in windows 10

    I can open Updates & Security. I cant open Windows Update. Just a blank page with little blue dots running across the top. I have left this run for hours. it won't load.

    I'm on 10586, has anyone else had this issue though? I know there's many people who couldn't open settings at all, but not just the update page. If there is no other way to fix it then i guess i'll try and do that repair install, or i could just leave it like this, i'm not really having any other issues

    Somehow, it fixed itself and i can update windows again

    I'm having the same problem on version 1511 (10586.122). I used the troubleshooter aswell and it didnt help. Are there any suggestions? I don't want to re-install Windows :/

    Nope, it looks like you just have to wait like i did, it randomly fixed itself and i didn't do anything. Best if you just leave it alone until then i guess
