    I have been successfully using puTTY ssh client for years, including up to the point when I shut down my Windows 10 PC last night. When I did the restart, it updated apparently with kb5037768 and kb5038285 both cumulative updates for windows 10 for May 14. Now I am no longer able to use puTTY.Symptoms are that the puTTY terminal window hangs with 'not responding' as soon as it is opened to try to make a connection.It doesn't appear to be a firewall problem. I turned off the firewall temporarily, but the problem persisted.I have tried uninstalling the update. However, the list in Uninstall is

    SSH Client Beta

    I have been using the Windows SSH client instead of putty to SSH into my raspberry pi. What is the paste shortcut for the vim editor? I have tried these things in normal, insert, and paste mode. Here's a list of things I've tried that does not work:

    ctrl+Shift+Insert

    Shift+Insert

    crtl+v

    Shift+crtl+v

    right click

    scroll click

    When I attempt these things, I either get no result, a ':', or a blank line.

    Windows 10 SSH Tunnel with Putty

    Greetings. Running Windows 10 Home 64-bit and having some difficulties with passing internet traffic through the localhost proxy when creating a SSH tunnel with Putty. Putty connects to the Linux server running SSH. I was able to successfully to do this
    before Windows 10. I have tried Firefox and Chrome and both failed to connect to the proxy under Windows 10. Edge browser gives me the same error. I have disable the firewall and antivirus with no luck. My laptop with windows 7 is able to tunnel the traffic
    just fine. I have search the internet far and wide and unable to find a answer. Any help would be appreciated.

    What is PuTTy release 0.71?

    PuTTY is an SSH and Telnet client for Windows. I don't know who uses Telnet anymore, but SSH is very popular.
