Windows 10: windows 10 update stuck at configuring updates for windows 10 at 57%

it all started this morning when windows prompted me to update, i picked a time while i was doing school so it could update


its been more than 2 hours and it still hasnt finished updating

if it helps my C drive had only 7 gigs left i believe

help??

Windows 10 Update

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
