Windows 10: Windows 10 Update STUCK

What follows below is a copied and pasted list of the status line of SETTINGS of where my STUCK WINDOWS 10 PC Is with updates. This has been dragging on for nearly two months now and I cannot seem to get it to update at all.

HELP PLEASE!


I have also TRIED IT ALL: W10 Update Assistant (goes nowhere), DOWNLOADED Updates from the CATALOG PAGE, etc. I DO NOT WANT TO RESET THIS PC as this should NOT BE REQUIRED and this requires me to undo a year of work in this PC or more (files, downloaded Applications, Loaded Windows Apps, etc) as well as mouse sharing is working.


DO I NEED TO UPDATE ANY LONGER is my question? Maybe I am wasting my time????

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
